Sgt. Oliveira's recently retired K9, Angus, passed away suddenly on April 1, 2011 . He was diagnosed with cancer that had spread throughout his body. He served the community for over 7 years and loved his job. He was a fearless and noble protector. He wore his badge with honor every day, to keep citizens safe and out of harms way.  RIP K9 Angus.
