Wild Chase: 3 Suspects Tracked Through Zoo

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- It wasn't just the animals on lockdown Thursday at the Sacramento Zoo: Visitors were corralled as Sacramento police tracked down some suspected car thieves
. Two stolen cars were driving together when one crashed in south Sacramento, police said. But that didn't stop the caper: The people in the car that crashed got into the other stolen car, and police started chasing them. The second stolen car then crashed inside the zoo's rear perimeter fence. Three people jumped out and ran into the zoo. Officers with K-9s followed them inside, corralling visitors on one side of the zoo while they searched the other side. All three were found at the monkey enclosure, police said. A K-9 bit one zoo worker that was near one of the suspects, who was also bitten.
